About

After 30+ years in the marketing I realized that I needed to do something that better aligned with who I am as an individual. My passions lies at the intersection of art, design, health, wellness and creative expression.

I believe that we are all biologically, mentally, spiritually and psychologically distinct (bio-individuality) and that unless we take this into account when developing whole health programs we will always struggle to find what we are looking for (want) and deserve (goal) in whole health.

So, I finally launched my health, nutrition and fitness coaching practice (HALE) so I can dedicate all my time empowering clients into mindful healthy living and getting to root causes that undermine whole health.

Now, I get to marry my 30+ years of experience in human centered design, design thinking, strategy and data with my 10+ years of experience in health and wellness so I can make a difference in peoples lives.

There is no one size fits all approach when I partner with you on your whole health journey. I am always listening, learning, optimizing and taking action.

The body, mind and spirit have the wisdom to be whole and healthy. In it’s wisdom it is always looking for homeostasis.

Our job is to support it with what it needs through the food (nutrition) we eat, the movements (fitness) we do and how we think and behave (mind and spirit).

By listening to its wisdom, learning from it and taking action we achieve whole health.

As a health, wellness, functional nutrition and fitness coach I offer several services and programs (in-person and/or virtual) that empower clients into mindful healthy living. I am certified in:

I work with clients in several areas that impact mind, body and spirit. I really love to partner with clients in leveraging food (nutrition) and movement (exercise) to support whole health and vigor. I also partner with client in:

  • Calming and managing inflammation

  • Feeling and looking your best through nutrition and exercise.

  • Developing mindfulness and movement practices that enable clients to be present and find meaning.

  • Designing programs that help clients develop muscle, strength and endurance.

  • Designing and developing programs with food choices that align with desired outcomes and lifestyle preferences.

    Aha moment!! We've all heard this before. I am 45, married, have a 7 year old son, and have moved 10 times in the last 12 years...continents, countries and states. Had a blast. Now I am back home! I was always very active through my “ younger” years…. but somehow, dinner parties, wine, and cheese became a staple to me.

    Not that it's bad, it is delicious, but not the way I was doing it. I went on a holiday in December 2017 for New Year’s, and saw a picture of myself!!! This was my aha moment. Who was that? That could not be me? I gained 20+ pounds, was bloated, and tired...I did not like that picture and everything it represented. That's it. I needed to change, NOW! I have tried diets here and there...bottom line, they don't work.

    Believe me, I tried them. I wanted to eat and have my wine, and if I only worked out hard enough, I believed I would lose weight...right? NO!! It just does not work.
